Any #bluToid peeps interested in System Shock, I made some pointers that I wish I knew going into it. Beat the game last night after about 20 hours.

I advocate playing on an emulator so you can fast forward through attack animations/enemy turns. Otherwise, plays just fine today

I am planning on playing the sequel. Its a hard adjustment period, and I had to use a guide for several parts, but it is fun! It plays a lot like a Metroidvania in some ways. But like, have a notepad, look up tips, etc, etc

It is dedicated to being old school. Minimal objective markers, a labyrinthine space station, and having to read every text log to know how to solve puzzles / what you are even trying to do. If you are down for that, its good, but its very jarring against any modern sensabilities

Let me tell you, I'm at the end of System Shock and that game is a whore! It do be fun though

Begrudgingly making progress in System Shock. I hate how out of nowhere there will be a boss battle, and if you die in the boss battle instead of respawning like EVERY OTHER DEATH in the game, instead you have to go back to your last save. #bluToid

Played through both one time, and I felt like that was enough, but definitely a great game to check out for those into the indie scene
