haha it's all good. I didn't know ballets could be based off of other works either until I started getting into it. I think it's cuz the most famous ballets are nutcracker and swan lake which are both original works (technically swan lake is based off of a fairytale but idk if that counts lol)

The only ballet I’ve watched that I knew from before was A Streetcar Named Desire. That one was interesting to see adapted into a ballet. It’s actually one of the best valleys I’ve ever watched. But I’m biased cuz it’s one of my favourite stories too

I actually didn’t know this story haha. I just know of it cuz it’s one of Shakespeare‘s works, but one of his lesser known ones. I’m more into his tragedies (i.e. macbeth and hamlet)
