That’s terribly sad news. I remember seeing Max Webster in Liverpool in 1979 and thought they were great. “Sun Voices” is one of my all time favourites.

Do the rumours include any suggestion that Tarney removed any evidence of the influence of Todd Rundgren?

May I suggest Todd Rundgren’s run of albums between 70-74 Chris? After that his quality control starts to slip IMHO but I love his initial period.
