The various Blackthorn variants on Difford’s are worth a look. My favourite Sloe gin cocktail is the Saison l’Hiver, but you do need pink sparkling wine.

Oh sorry - did you mean the District Line? Ambrato Vermouth, Italicus, gin and lime juice, topped up with tonic water.

The more usual recipe is Benedictine rather than Drambuie, sometimes with a dash of absinthe.

My annual Bobby Burns cocktail, to celebrate Burns’ Night (it may or may not have been named after the man himself, but it’s my tradition now). I’ve made the Embury version with Drambuie, because I need to use it for something (I like it, I just struggle to use it).

Have you come across Peat & Diesel? They’re kind of folk/rock with a hint of punk.
