SDP, NARRATION: Maybe if I could've convinced you to stay you'd stop beating yourself up so goddamn much.] [PANEL 2: MALPOMENE is tightly holding the giftbox, smiling with tears in her eyes. lines come off her to indicate happy dialogue. SDP, NARRATION: And shit would've ended up ok, instead of like. . .] [PANEL 3: the original dull coloration of the comic returns as the flashback ends. MALPOMENE stands in a way that mirrors her past self in the previous panel, and in glacing away from SDP she looks in the direction of the last panel. instead of having her arms wrapped around the giftbox, they are merely folded. MALPOMENE: jUst give me the present and be on yoUr way.] [PANEL 4: SDP crouches down to place the real version of the giftbox on the ground a few feet away from MALPOMENE. SDP seems upset, while MALPOMENE looks as if she's holding in her emotions. SDP: Geez, thanks for the warm sendoff. . .] [PANEL 5: SDP has turned his back to MALPOMENE, who is picking up the now partially unwrapped giftbox.] [PANEL 6: SDP turns around to look backwards at MALPOMENE, who has also looked up to look at him. SDP looks slightly hopeful, but still upset SDP: . . . well? Are you going to fucking say anything or are you just gonna leave me hanging?] END DESCRIPTION

Part 4 of a 4 page comic. the dull coloration from part 3 continues. [PANEL 1: MALPOMENE holds a golden ring in the forground, SDP is in the blurry background looking backwards at her still. the engraving on the inside of the ring can be seen, reading "#2 Creep"] [PANEL 2: MALPOMENE lowers her hand, the ring now in her closed fist. the background is no longer blurry, the foreground being blurry instead. SDP is looking at the ground, somber and unsurprised MALPOMENE: please slightly damp pixel. MALPOMENE: i'm not save to be aroUnd anymore. SDP: . . . bye, Malpomene.] [PANEL 3: SDP slowly walks away from MALPOMENE, who is watching him as he goes with the ring still clutched in her fist.] [PANEL 4: the colors of the panel get duller than the previous panel. SDP gets further away from MALPOMENE, the panel getting wider to compensate. MALPOMENE looks down at her fist with the ring in it, seemingly having a difficult revaluation or struggling to process emotions. SDP is still walking away, but glaces back at her with remorse.] [PANEL 5: the colors of the panel get even duller, now almost completely gray. MALPOMENE has sat down on a nearby rock, her hands on her eyes and her face in complete shadow. SDP is now walking away from MALPOMENE faster, his eyes closed and fists cletched, seeminly more upset.] END DESCRIPTION
