New process sketch. I’m breaking down the collection of ideas I would put into one painting into small individual patterns. At at least this is a new way of planning a series without starting with physical work.

New sketch process for art I am in the process of developing. Not to say there won’t be changes by the time I get to other pieces, but this has been a very gratifying way to develop my work.

I’m putting together a new book about the creative process based on ideas centered around drawing from the senses, sight, hearing, smell, and touch. These drawings will eventually turn into paintings too. More to come soon.
