My new JTS article on (Ps.-)Didymus the Blind's De Trinitate is out! I argue for a late-fourth-century dating, showing that the angelology of De Trin is perfectly compatible with practices of angel veneration that are well-attested in that period. academic.oup.com/jts/advance-...

In response to your feedback on the proofs, Lux Patrum has reworked our Latin-English edition of Augustine's De Trinitate to a two-column format with a larger font size. I think it turned out quite well! It'll be published in a few days.

Some time ago I translated a couple of Asterius of Cappadocia's beautiful Homilies on the Psalms into English. If someone would like to translate more of these homilies for Lux Patrum, I'd be very happy to let you use my translations and a few other drafts as a starting point. (Or you can make a

Too few people have read the works of the great Nicholas of Cusa β€” partly because Jasper Hopkins's excellent translations have long been unavailable. Lux Patrum is bringing them back into print along with the critical Latin text. Pick up a copy at luxpatrum.com

Coming soon: Origen's homilies on Ezekiel (Latin) + all of the Greek fragments β€” the latter having been translated for the first time into English.

Many thanks to Roger Pearse for allowing us to use the translation by Mischa Hooker than he commissioned and painstakingly edited a decade ago.

Many people are asking how Lux Patrum is putting out so many volumes so quickly. The answer is that we have a team of about 15 editors hard at work on Greek-English editions of patristic and medieval texts. If you'd like to join us, email nathan@luxpatrum.com.

This is in fact the very first *complete* English translation of the workβ€”Ed Creedy and I translated into English the portions of the work that the earlier translator had deemed too risquΓ© for general consumption and had therefore rendered only in Latin.

Turns out that Jerome was still a contented universalist even in the 390s. I would not describe myself as a universalist, but it is striking that no less than three doctors of the church openly held this position. patristics.substack.com/p/the-one-wh...
