By falling over and feigning death?

Sitting quietly in the corner, usually cheerful, often smiling, but well aware of the dark clouds that get to us all sometimes. That's why I'm here and not there. Probably also why I'm a Spurs fan.
By falling over and feigning death?

I was thinking this very thing over the weekend

Remember those northern fishermen we fluked past on the way to winning the UEFA cup
24.02.2026 21:36 — 👍 4 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I remember every morning waking in bed, and wondering if it is better, then getting out of bed and putting pressure on the foot and just getting so frustrated as the same tearing sensation developed across the arch. Went on for weeks. Nothing seemed to work to treat it

23.02.2026 21:21 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Just thinking of one club who fears Spurs more than our own fans. What if we are close to getting relegated, and Man City are finally sanctioned and go down in our place. Would the Universe simply just explode at the anti-Spurs of it all?

23.02.2026 20:05 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Without wanting to sound like an old man shouting at clouds; this season is like supporting Spurs in the 90's. This is what moulded me into the ever hopeful fan I am. These were the seasons of Francis and Gross, when the biggest win of the season was getting over 38 points. That was Glory Glory!

22.02.2026 19:10 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Sadly so true. There was too much shift in narrative this week due to the change in manager. 1-4 was not reflective of the match, but people will react as if that was 1st v 2nd in the league. In the first half there were definite green shoots. Then the confidence got sucked and suckered punched out
22.02.2026 19:03 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Others will say finer things but this is a team savaged by injury, devoid of confidence, with attacking tactics coached out of them & a brand new coach trying to rapidly instil new thinking, playing against the top team in England and Champions League. Ange's Mr Hindsight is dangerous right now.

22.02.2026 17:10 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Spurs are hard watch but we are playing with energy and intent but low confidence. Arsenal are a hard watch due to the constant whining, diving and falling over.
22.02.2026 17:03 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0There's lots of variables that can be causing this but your best route is to speak with the optician. It also takes time as your visual system is having to adjust, including head positioning, so perseverance is required. Don't just put them on for certain tasks; try and wear them as much as possible
21.02.2026 19:34 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0But if that had been Romero; losing his head, reckless, rush of blood, red mist....
14.02.2026 19:59 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0What stands out from Igor is that it's that positivity we as fans and the players need. This is a top 6 quality side that has been destroyed from what we had under Ange. The players will want to prove that it was Frank and his insipid tactics that got us into this position. Let them off the leash!
14.02.2026 15:39 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I've got to say that personally my mood has shifted the last couple of days. I know it's daft that it should affect you in this way, I'm a grown man for goodness sake, but the frustration had become ingrained.

No.

It shows how good managers can paper over the cracks for only so long through tactics and/or motivation. Frank, was not able to achieve either and so the gaps became so obvious.
12.02.2026 13:16 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I've been offline all day but the news about Frank this morning made me stop and think. I have nothing against Frank, who seems a decent guy who tried his best It is also a scenario that I feel we all fear, striving for the top, achieving it and then to be found wanting in full view of all.
11.02.2026 21:35 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Any comments from the players so far.....
11.02.2026 11:33 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I'm not usually a manager out guy (apart from Sherwood, Mourinho and Conte recently). But this is the worst of times right now. We have an excellent and exciting group of young players that will be a lost generation at this rate. We will haemorrhage them all to other clubs.Frank has to go and go now
10.02.2026 21:37 — 👍 4 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I can't believe how little criticism Frank gets from Commentators and Pundits.

Spurs are playing at home against a team with as bad an away record as our home record. But we are the home side.
These first half stats are unforgiveable and if Frank had been sacked at halftime like Jol was, I wouldn't have felt sorry for him.
Atrocious manager

You say that now. But after it's been on 6 or 7 times, then it's on during every car journey, then round the house....before you know it you're waking up with "going to be, going to be golden" banging round your head. My algorithm is ruined 😭
