God I wish life was full of quick easy fixes! And it simply isn't! It does frustrate me, yeah!

Like in some ways it causes clashes between us, but I told my dad that I am /glad/ he doesn't /get/ addiction and the blinding downward spiral of it. That is not calling you dumb, dad. There's just a reason an addict can usually recognize another addictive person nearly instinctively a lot of times.

(But yeah as you can see I am a natural yapper, you couple that with someone wanting company and telling their life story and a few brewskis with a trusty pack of cigs, and now you know how I would mysteriously disappear for a few hours at night at times lol)

(But then again maybe my view of homeless folks is skewed because most of the ones I talked to were in their fifties-sixties and just naturally more mellow than young men worryingly often amped up on questionable quality drugs, which I do know are around the neighborhood too)

(Ill miss wandering around the neighborhood drunkedly at night and meeting the most random kinds of people I wouldn't have talked to otherwise, but I recognize how risky that behavior was. But amazing amount of drunk night wanderers just get starved for company and are itching to tell their stories)

(The other part that intrigues me is that homeless folks do NOT tend to b thieves, but moreso the perpetually-in-a-messy-situation opportunists.Homeless people I met seemed to be a lot more polite, most of the time, to another human being than your usual riches-wanting chancer; exceptions apply ofc)

(yes I have been to one! Homeless squat that is. I was given a tour even. Ma wasn't lyin that homeless folks tend to hoard trash of all kinds,but y'know, they already are in a very difficult life situation so I get that. In some parts they can be really amazingly resourceful as a matter of survival)

Too many cases when I wonder if a guy aspires to live like a Disney princess with roaches and rats as his animal sidekicks in his palace resembling an inside of a homeless squat. :')

Y'know, if my child will be a son, I will make double sure to drill it into his his head how important self-discipline is about keeping his place tidy...
