Was going to take the kids to the new activation by @downtowndc.org.web.brid.gy in Franklin Park after school pickup but watched a reckless and dangerous Park Police response that involved officers almost hitting pedestrians to respond to a single unhoused person and now I'm not.

I use abus bordo & u lock if at higher risk. Bordo/folding isn’t most secure but it’s flexible. I also can’t speak highly enough of getting the locks keyed alike. We splurged on this and it’s been great knowing that we both have the key to more or less all of the locks. Also, insurance.

The District Dept. of Transportation plans to eliminate Arizona Ave. NW protected bike lanes. Use this action to tell DDOT you object: waba.org/action-page/... . The city should not compromise safety because a few individuals don’t like the look of flex posts.
