Reform did well, but not well enough to win, nor did it pierce 30%, suggesting there is a ceiling for them.

Starmer's fate, however, is more likely to be sealed in May, as that is just going to be a tidal wave coming his way.

More defeats to come, and rivals unwilling to go for him until writing is on the wall.

Gorton & Denton is nothing short of electoral disaster for Labour. Its base splintered and the Greens/Reform squeezed it to third, which is embarrassing.

I got wind of a tweet where someone said immigration into London is akin to the Black Death. The actual fuck.

Could have been worse - I think having a phone snatched from my pocket or hand would have felt far more violating.

Reported to the Met Police, no idea if anything will be found/the thief will be caught but didn't lose anything I can't replace.

Ended up being the victim of a crime today out in central London.

Sucked for someone to steal my bag but people in the place where it happened were helpful and lovely about it ❤️

Oh it's devastatingly good

Another thing I enjoyed was the soundtrack, especially in a particular scene. Electronic, dreamy, quite romantic.

Definitely a film worth revisiting. Not sure how long it remains in cinemas, so nab a ticket if you can.

Resonated with me, especially on the grief aspect, and the sense of longing you start to feel in your 20s, especially as a gay man.

Saw Twinless at the Prince Charles Cinema last night.

Very enjoyable film. Dark comedy, touching on grief, unrequited love, and the strange things grief makes people do.

I think Andrew Marr's assessment of Starmer is sound. He's showing an unwillingness to relinquish power, but he won't last.

And we're likely heading towards some form of Reform-led government at this rate.

Farage's claims here are straightforward lies (and it's about time the media/press said so)

God, this job hunt is just dragging on. Fucks sake.

While talking to another recruiter about a role weeks ago, they told me the agency they were sourcing candidates for had been cheeky and hired someone, having bypassed them completely.

Did an initial interview, a written test and a follow-up interview somewhere, seemed to be in a good position to clinch a role, but now been told the job has been withdrawn 😑
