I used to never get the flu shot. Then in my late 20s I got the flu. I needed to sit down half way up the steps to catch my breath. I’ve gotten the shot every year since then.

"All people who rape children should go to jail," shouldn't be a controversial statement.

Like I dunno, maybe the reason it took a lady to break open the story of all the men protecting the dude trafficking underage girls is because the male journos were all emailing him making jokes about it?

Oh yes, this is 100% an act. I think the fact that she thinks it’s worth pretending to moderate is noteworthy.

MTG turning moderate is not the political omen I was expecting, but I think it’s a big one.

Odds that there are pictures of him with a girl that looks entirely too much like Ivanka?

The Speaker of the House shut the chamber down for two months to block the release of the Epstein Files and the president is huddled in the Situation Room of the White House to formulate a plan to keep them from being released, and I don't know why you crazy libs think there's some kind of cover up.

Donald Trump Said He Promised Ivanka He Wouldn't Date Girls Younger Than Her β€œSo as she grows older, the field is getting very limited.” 😬

Do we REALLY need allegedly? Ivanka was 17 when he complained that not dating girls younger than his daughter made "the field" "very limited". He's admitted it.

Look, Donald Trump may have had a lengthy, well documented friendship with America’s most famous pedophile, and he may have spent decades giving quotes like β€œif there’s one thing I love, its beautiful girlsβ€”young ones, too,” but I just need 4-5 more drops of damning evidence to buy these accusations

My takeaway from every new Epstein revelation is that some powerful people victimized many powerless young women, many more knew, some actively enabled it--and we're still being told that MeToo and accountability for sexual violence have gone too far

I think if any of the things they’re saying to him were true, they wouldn’t need to use words to tell him.

β€˜Sold POTUS a bill of goods’: WH furious with Pulte over 50-year mortgage The White House was blindsided by the idea and is now dealing with a furious backlash from conservative allies, business leaders and lawmakers.

Oh fuck. According to this www.politico.com/news/2025/11... that’s not far off of how the 50 year mortgage thing happened. πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

Don’t worry, I’m sure Trump will see the fake post, be convinced it’s his brilliant idea, and by next week it will be official whitehouse policy.

The degree to which Nate Silver still hasn't gotten over being told he can't go to his favorite restaurants for a little bit during a pandemic is something to witness. He had to stay home for a few months and completely lost his mind.

In Philadelphia especially, being registered as anything other than a Democrat makes almost no sense. The primaries are the real elections, since the Democratic candidate is almost certainly going to win. Any other party registration locks you out of having a voice in local government.

Blame *all* Democratic incumbents for this surrender. Not just the ones voting for it. The others could have voted to remove Schumer long ago and install a leader capable of formulating a strategy and holding his people together. They were content to stay with a proven loser.

It may surprise folks that Justice Jackson, who has been one of the most vocal critics of the Court's behavior on emergency applications from the Trump administration, acquiesced in even a temporary pause of the district court's ruling in this case. But as I read the order, which says a lot more than a typical
"administrative stay" from the Court, Jackson was stuck between a rock and a hard place-given the incredibly compressed timing that was created by the circumstances of the case.
In a world in which Justice Jackson either knew or suspected that at least five of the justices would grant temporary relief to the Trump administration if she didn't, the way she structured the stay means that she was able to try to control timing of the Supreme Court's (forthcoming) review-and to create pressure for it to happen faster than it otherwise might have. In other words, it's a compromise-one with which not everyone will agree, but which strikes me as eminently defensible under these unique (and, let's be clear, maddening and entirely f-ing avoidable) circumstances.
