Syrische activist verdwijnt uit Nederland, vrienden vrezen dat hij is ontvoerd door het regime van Assad Wat is er gebeurd met Mazen Hamada? De Syrische vluchteling keerde om onduidelijke redenen terug naar Damascus. Familie en vrienden maken zich grote zorgen. “Ik denk niet dat we Mazen nog gaan zien.”

Het regime is weg, maar blijft Syrische families pijn doen. Vandaag is het lichaam gevonden van Mazen Hamada. Hij overleefde de martelkamers van Saidnaya al een keer, kwam naar Nederland, en verdween. De bevrijding van de Saidnaya gevangenis kwam voor hem te laat.
