The Doral club, where every single room was booked from golf fans, players and others, was also packed with patrons at the restaurants and bars, no sign that the markets were melting down, other than the TV monitors with news on. The disconnect was startling.

It was quiet the scene at Doral yesterday, as I spent the day walking the Trump's sprawling resort. I had a chance to chat with Yasir Al-Rumayyan, the governor of the $925 billion Saudi sovereign wealth fund. He is also chairman of LIV Golf and close to Trump.

I expected Tesla to crash anyway. But given Elon's insane strategy of rapid scorched-earth destruction, it might as well happen quickly if he wants to obliterate everything.
He *won't* have a power base left.
If they want to play this game, going after Tesla merely amplifies and accelerates the market feedback they're getting already.
