Huge kudos to the amazing team behind this David Kremer, Víctor Villar Pascual, Jesús Talavera Gómez, Yaiza García Martín-Mantero, @ismaelfaro.bsky.social — your dedication, creativity, and deep technical insight are what make this possible.
10.11.2025 17:18 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0This makes advanced AI-powered transpilation more accessible than ever. The Unitary Fund survey is widely recognized as the primary pulse check for quantum software adoption and developer preferences. Seeing our work reflected there is both humbling and energizing.
10.11.2025 17:18 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0One of the most exciting updates this year: our AI transpiler passes — including the latest Pauli Networks pass (arXiv:2503.14448) — can now run in local mode, removing the need for an IBM Quantum premium plan.
10.11.2025 17:18 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0In less than two years, the package has surpassed 929K downloads, becoming a relevant tool for quantum circuit optimization/transpilation across the community.
10.11.2025 17:18 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0🚀 I'm thrilled to share that the qiskit-ibm-transpiler library has moved up to #3 in the @unitary.foundation 2025 Survey under Full-stack development platforms, compilers, and simulators. Last year, we were #4 — and this year’s leap is a testament to the incredible work of the team behind it.

In case you want to play with this new AI transpiler pass, you don't need to wait for a release.
This AI pass has been available in the Qiskit Transpiler Service since last November 2024, as presented in the Quantum Developer Conference 2024.
David Kremer will be presenting this work at the APS March Meeting in Anaheim on Wednesday (March 19) morning - do check it out if you are at the conference! summit.aps.org/events/MAR-L...

⚠Paper alert!
In this new paper we introduce a RL-based synthesis pass for Pauli Networks (Clifford + arbitrary angle Pauli rotation circuits), and an optimization pass for general circuits that uses this Pauli Network synthesis pass.

Exciting update!
The Qiskit Code Assistant service now exposes compatible endpoints with OpenAI's Completions API. This integration enables seamless usage via existing libraries (OpenAI, LiteLLM, etc.), making it easy to infuse Qiskit knowledge into your LLM pipelines.

05.03.2025 17:52 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Oh! I was assuming you were getting outdated code from our model. Despite it may happen, we have measured that most of the times it should give you the right answer (even more when comparing it vs other AI models that are not specialized on Qiskit as you comment)
05.03.2025 17:52 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Thanks for the interest @quantumyakar.bsky.social. We thank the feedback from our users
We'd expect that, the new models are better in our internal benchmarks about outdated code. In any case, this model is a release candidate and needs more testing before promoting it to be a stable release.
🙌 Thanks to the feedback received, we've released a revised version of the granite-8b-qiskit-rc-0.10!
