We really love digging in to an individual, as we did this summer with The Rock and we did last summer with Steven Spielberg. We sometimes think maybe we should pivot to always doing miniseries, always covering an individual, whether a director or an actor…

Our favorite two things to hear about the show: One is from guests who say, after we’re done, “That was so much fun!” The other is from people who listen and say, “I didn’t care at all about the movie/person you were talking about, but you made me care.”

We’ve been doing our podcast for a long time, but the “current” version of the show really started two years ago. We’re very proud of it, we put a ton of work into it, and we’re grateful for all the great feedback we’ve gotten, especially over the past month of the Summer of Rock.

We suffer through the absolutely dreadful HOBBS & SHAW, a movie blocked at every turn from being interesting by the massive ego of The Rock.
