Political Prisoners Network Myanmar (PPNM) spokesperson Thaik Tun Oo said at least 137 political #prisoners have died in prison due to lack of adequate medical care since 2021 & calls on international community to pressure regime to release all political prisoners.

👏🏽 Australian tech biz Kick removed Myanmar junta propaganda accounts, hours after they began livestreaming.

The junta moved to Kick after they had their accounts removed from the Amazon-owned platform Twitch. They are now, again, without a livestream platform, days before their sham election.

And talked about the Dec 10 Silent Strikes & other campaigns/actions by Myanmar people incld not showing up to cast advance vote at the junta-controlled embassies abroad & protests taking place both inside and outside the country.

I warned the int'l com not to repeat the same mistake they did back in the post-2010 era in this upcoming sham election by the current Min Aung Hlaing-led military junta.

I said, the Myanmar people despise this upcoming illegal sham election as much & equally as they despise the junta.

My examples include how peace donors poured funding into the hands of military-controlled so-called peace process and how they attempted to silence our women's voices in addressing the Myanmar military's use of rape as a weapon of war, warning us that would "disturb" the peace process.

Last night, I joined the panel organized by Foreign Correspondents' Club of Thailand.

I shared some key lesson learned from Myanmar's post 2010 "democratic transition" period how the international community shifted their policy towards Myanmar - human rights first to business first approach.
