Remember how we once assumed state-corporate media reported the truth rather twisted our minds with fake news to fit with their state-corporate interests.
How's that going after Iraq, Libya, Corbyn/Starmer, Ukraine, Gaza and now Iran?
Is the picture not clear yet?
This video demonstrates setting up the plugin to fully save and load one of the template projects, in under a minute.
(Plus some extra steps to refresh the player's HUD after a reload, as UI is not saved automatically.)

Working on an #UnrealEngine project and looking to easily add save and load, without having to set everything up yourself?
My Save/Load plugin is currently on sale on Fab for 30% off (~$26).

What we really need is an actually democratic system of government.
The one we have has clearly failed.
So-called "democratic" governments all over the world don't represent their people's wishes, nor are they accountable for their crimes.
Could be one of the superhero things, like maybe the D.C. Flash series?
I remember that thing quickly getting so multiverse-y that it felt like nothing mattered any more.
Time travel as a one-off fluke can actually work well for an episodic story format (e.g. Star Trek TNG's Timescape is a great episode), but having it as a consistent mechanic can easily ruins settings (e.g. I feel like the whole "time war" concept completely ruined Star Trek Enterprise.)

I feel like those are really dangerous concepts in any story, which can completely destroy your readers/viewers/players' investment in the story and world, unless they are used really carefully.
Undoing or otherwise changing past events in a story can easily retroactively make them pointless.
The US pedophile regime and its allies will condescendingly school the world on Iran's regime oppressing women, and then bomb a girls elementary school killing more than 50 children.
Of course, never mind that Iran has the 3rd largest oil reserve, after Venezuela.
Israel and the USA have just tried to start WW3.
Remember that any news source that doesn't call this a barbaric, unprovoked attack is lying to you, and you should stop getting any news from it immediately.
Any politician who doesn't condemn it is an evil monster and you should never vote for them
Its Kickstarter just finished, it raised $366,428 out of a $35,000 goal - over 10x the ask!

This seems contradictory, first they're critiquing "bluesky leftists" (whatever those are) for opposing AI, and then also for embracing it because it was brought by the market?

That's how I understand it, yes.
And you're not just forced to read it on your phone, you're also forced to use their app to do so. You can't use your own app.
The left should be fighting tooth and nail against this technology.
It's entirely based on theft, intentionally trained with built-in biases, has terrible environmental costs, and its ultimate goals are to allows its creators to first control humanity, and then make most of us destitute.
If you have DRM-free books, then you can of course read them in any app or physical device that you have.
Not sure how it could be interpreted in any other way than them discontinuing the epub / mobi version of the books.
It's not speculation, it's right there in GW's announcement.
I'm surprised more people aren't making a bigger fuss about this.
The Black Library was great exactly because they gave you DRM-free books you could read on whatever app or reader you wanted.

Gingertail's covers are awesome in general.
Listen to others while you're there!
Right now, it mostly just blocks AI summaries on Google, DuckDuckGo, YouTube, and IMDB, and removes AI assistant buttons and AI actions on some other sites, including removing Grok's evil image manipulation button from Twitter.

I've created a filter list to block AI content (such as AI summaries and AI assistants) from various webpages. Compatible with uBlock Origin and other ad blockers that use the same list format.
It's very small right now, but it's available here:

Not sure if I should read The Scouring next. Looks like they've only written one book of that so far.
16.02.2026 14:21 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I also felt that several major characters got poor and narratively-unfulfilling deaths, sometimes even when they had parts in the original lore that got left out in the books.
16.02.2026 14:21 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The final battle between Horus and the Emperor, which the whole Heresy builds up to, also ended up a bit ridiculous when it gets interrupted by random people no less than FIVE TIMES! And none of them are the lone ordinary guardsman from the original lore.
16.02.2026 14:21 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0There was one very interesting plot point around "The Dark King", which I'd have liked them to go into more detail on - though of course no outcome could really change what happened, since the Heresy is a prequel series after all. We all know how it has to end.
16.02.2026 14:21 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The final part of the Siege isn't broken by force of arms, it's by the traitors just walking through random Warp breaches right into sections of the Inner Palace, and even loyalists randomly walking through them onto the Vengeful Spirit.
16.02.2026 14:21 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The final (3-part) book of the Heresy was a bit disappointing, in part because they end The Siege with "the Warp is everywhere now, so geography doesn't make any sense any more and people can end up anywhere", which really undermines the entire Siege.

Some of my favourite stories were the ones involving Garro - especially the audio dramas narrated by Toby Longworth, which were really good.
Not counting his final story, which I didn't like at all.
