A local burger place had a house made ginger ketchup & it was mad delicious. They closed, so I made my own with garden tomatoes & fresh ginger. I do like Heinz, but I'd take that ginger ketchup into battle any day.

Went to the Sundance Film Festival in 2008 & Robert Redford sat 3 rows in front of me for the premiere of a movie his daughter directed. Still get giddy thinking about that day! What a legend. I think my favorite film of his is "Out of Africa". Just watched again a few weeks ago.

Blood blister

My market tent bit me & I got a blood blister. Asked my nurse mom if I should pop it. She said no "but if you do, put newsprint on it & wrap it." Hmm, newsprint you say? Bless you predictive text for giving me a laugh. I do have neosporin on standby, just in case.

This new to me flower just bloomed in my garden, & it is delightful! Plant identifier tells me it's Malope or Spanish mallow. Came from a packet of "wildflower" seeds, & so far this one is the best of the bunch. #flowers #malope #spanishmallow

This tomato now exceeds me in height by about a foot(I'm 5'11" for reference). Just a few more days & I'm going to be flooded with tomato yummieness. The cosmos are also nearly 7 feet tall as well. Must be the rainbarrel water. #garden #colorado #longmont #tomato #cosmo #flowers

The actual house has been vacant for over a decade(long story), & the garage out back has hosted raccoons for even longer. Only time we had trouble was when we planted corn in the garden. They trashed it. So we don't plant corn.
