This morning I was excited to go to the “Communications and Aging” focused on the Village movement in Montgomery County and of course, Rockville.

I had to leave to go to King Farm Neighbors Village which had a coffee at a similar time.

The Villages - awesome concept & thrilled to support them.

I was thrilled to be part of the Washington Area Bicyclist Association (WABA) & Rockville Bicycle Advisory Committee's "Family Bicycle Festival" today at The Square Rockville!

Thanks especially to The Rockville Bike Hub and to City of Rockville Government for their efforts.

I was honored to participate in the City of Rockville Government September 11th Remembrance Ceremony. 24 years ago our nation suffered a great tragedy - but at the same time we saw courage and resolve. The police and firefighters who ran toward the danger. We remember and we will never forget.

Oh so you embrace violent words and are okay with this type of violence from people who are unstable and prone to be moved to action by it. Because in your view reasoned debate is “mealy-mouthed.”

Yesterday I volunteered at the AARP sponsored event at F Scott Fitzgerald Theatre. About 400 people joined to listen to hits from the 50s and 60s. It was a fantastic concert!

I am so glad that City of Rockville Government has a place to gather like this.

4th of July parade in Fallsmead was a blast. We ended it with a cookout by the poolside to benefit the Swim Team. Great Rockville neighborhood event!

Congratulations to Chief Jason West. I am certain his hiring is the right decision and he will keep the Rockville City Police Department on an upward trajectory.

Going on now - Juneteenth Celebration in Rockville Town Square, MD put on by Moroguard and with assistance from City of Rockville Government.

After the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington was uninvited to the Kennedy Center, Christ Episcopal Church in Rockville was one of the places to extend an invite. Proud to have been a part of inclusion and equality -for standing up for love not hate or diviseness.

Plus the Chorus puts on a great show!

Yesterday I went to the Open House of the new @RockBikeHub facility in Twinbrook.

RBH partners with @Rockville411 for the TERRIFIC bike program - giving bicycles to children who did good deeds. I was thrilled to show my support for a group doing good for Rockville’s community.

Come on down - the Summer BBQ Festival (Asian BBQ Festival) The Square Rockville in Rockville is in full swing. It is going until 7:00 today!

I was really impressed by the Senior Housing Expo put on by the Rockville Senior Center and City of Rockville Government.

It was a well attended and informative event. Great to see members of the Rockville Senior Citizens Commission there (soon to be renamed the Rockville Commission on Aging).

In these times of uncertainty, of hate & division we need a little light, a little hope & a little love.

Thank you to all who came out today to @Rockville411’s annual Pride Event. It is important to gather and enjoy our diversity.
