there's no harm in trying to soften the edges. I will need to do it even when it hurts and when I want to lash out instead. but what else can I do. fighting this with hate has only brought me more harm

My flashbacks are bad, it feels like I'm actually reliving it, but sure I'll defeat this with light and love lol
