An honour to share a platform with Kyoko Gibson, born in Hiroshima, at the moving CND Cymru event at The Waterfront Museum marking 80yrs since the atomic bomb was dropped on her city.

Diolch to everyone who came together in Swansea today to pledge to work for peace.

I will be taking part in this event in Swansea tomorrow to mark 80 years since the atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima.

A day to remember, to reflect, and to pledge to take action for peace.

From a designated children’s health plan, to introducing a child payment that’s proven to tackle child poverty, I was proud to be able to discuss in a RCPCH Wales event at the Senedd yesterday, how a Plaid Cymru government would tackle the health inequalities children face in Wales.

Backing this proposed two tiered system perpetuates the fundamental injustice at the heart of these plans - which are cuts, not reforms.
This bill needs to be scrapped and a plan which tackles longstanding barriers to employment and develops a fair and supportive welfare system developed, with the voices of disabled people at the centre of that work.".
