It wasn't that they slipped away from mom. Kids do that. I had no problem stepping in to make sure they're safe.

It was that my acquaintance went inside the shelter after checking on them after they saw the kid was with me. They're like, "they're fine! They're with Tori."

Yes it takes a village, but don't let your toddler wander outside the bus shelter on a busy street and make me watch them. It's not my job. I did my job already, am tired and I am going home. 😭

Nah. Those people were brought in under the guise of "labour shortages". When they're gone the businesses will lobby for other forms of wage suppression. In addition to the public service we are seeing mass layoffs with things like HBC closing and thousands in university and colleges being laid off.

Thousands of public service lay offs have already happened. They just did it through shorter term contracts and not refilling the positions.

We will see but I suspect that this is overly optimistic.

No they're not the problem but they are on the chopping block and that will affect private sector workers with more competition for jobs and fewer vacancies.

Conservatives are crabs in a bucket. They don't care if some of them get their legs clawed off as long as it's not them and they're the ones on the top.
