I was in a funk this evening about evidence of a student’s academic dishonesty and in my head about how I dealt with it. Still not sure but after a visit to the gym I feel better. We’re all doing our best to deal, probably even the student. There’s so much pressure on some of these kids.

Just finished Operation Bounce House by Matt Dinniman. I need a friend to finish it so we can talk about Roger. It’s less whimsical than the Carl books. Sort of closer in vibes to Scalzi’s Old Man’s War, but definitely a Dinniman book with questions about the intersection of games and life.

March Mammal Madness Brackets drop tomorrow! Just what I need after Project For Awesome. There are still amazing and cool things to be excited about.

This was honestly just a terrible, vague passive aggressive comment about the people who ask for reposts. I don’t mind an occasional repost. I find new people that way. Accounts that constantly repost just get an unfollow.

I know reposts spark engagement but I don’t follow people to see their reposts. I follow people to read what they have to say or see their art. I curate my feed here and likes make me happy. Bluesky isn’t an engagement farm for me and I don’t expect it to be for others. I’m just a goofball goofing.

Look at all the money we’ve raised since we kit 4 million. I bought a house once that cost less than that.
