Some of the comments made on X, in response to reports of the Air India plane crash are, quite frankly, inhuman. Has society become more racist & horrible since the turn of the century or has social media given a voice to misfits & degenerates whose views previously never saw the light of day?

Brighton are probably one of the clubs nearest to the model we are trying to follow. I'd say we're 2 or 3 seasons behind them on the pitch. Not a criticism of our performance, which was good in parts. Just a recognition of how far they have come. We'll get there but it might take a while yet
