Painted lady feeding on Schott's pygmy cedar. I was wondering if the plant was an actual cedar because its needle-shaped leaves smell like pine, but it's a member of the aster family that grows on rock walls in the desert.

Tive uma colega ovo-lacto-vegetariana. E ela sempre nos incentivava pelo menos a diminuir o consumo de carne.

It occurs in a wide belt across Western to Eastern Africa to Ethiopia, and South-eastern and Southern Africa in Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe. It consumes nectar, fruit and invertebrates and usually feeds on the ground.
