Kshama has a decade-long track record of using her Seattle City Council position to build movements and win the nation's highest minimum wage, the Amazon Tax, and unprecedented renters' rights.

Kshama Sawant is running an anti-genocide pro-worker campaign for the U.S. Congress. She is running as an independent socialist against warmongering Democrat Adam Smith, who has funded the genocide to the hilt.

There is a historic opening to win independent campaigns as a step towards building a new party for the American working class.

Despite the anger at Trump and the Republicans, the Democrats manage to be even more hated. The Democrats are fully complicit in the genocide and mass starvation in Gaza, and have failed to fight against Trump’s brutal budget cuts.

Millions of working and young people in the U.S. are also hungry for an alternative to the Democratic and Republican Parties. The Democratic Party’s approval rating is at rock-bottom, with 63% of voters having an unfavorable opinion view.

They demand an end to the genocide in Gaza. The party is calling for taxes on the rich to end the privatization of the healthcare system (NHS) and to fund a massive social housing program. The party is also calling for bringing energy, water, rail, and the postal service into public ownership.
