Nighttime skies in the country are so spectacular on a clear night. I couldn’t sleep and when I stepped out of my tent was once again amazed by the beauty of the world.

I wonder if all creative brains struggle with something similar. Too many ideas to humanly do. Getting started and jumping to others without finishing. Getting stuck because there’s too many possibilities.

It was grim but worth every second watching it. So well done.

A little bumblebee sculpture. Made from wool, wire, paper, pea glue, and some natural materials.

One of the recent sculptures I have been making. Materials: wool, wire, wood, paper, glue, and natural materials.

A brown butterfly with two bright orange eyespots on its wings is perched on a slender plant stem, surrounded by lush green grass and foliage. The butterfly’s wings are open, revealing a slightly worn texture, while a pinkish clover flower is visible in the lower right corner of the image.

Good morning, saw this little lady yesterday. A female Meadow Brown. Interesting fact, the females of this species of butterfly will very seldom leave the area they were born in, whilst the males will travel much further afield. #butterfly #FloralFriday #FlowersOnFriday #photography #EastCoastKin

This is beautiful!! It’s important for the insects that pollinate to have plants native to your part of the world. North America lost so much of its native species when the Europeans and then everyone else showed up.

The sky can be beautiful even in a city. 😃

These were taken on the same day in the Thousand Islands area of Ontario. Beautiful skies, eh?
