The defensive front 7 kicked off the athletic testing at the combine with a bang.
That's great news for the Packers, who are likely eyeing some of these players with early picks.

The Packers are renovating their training room, but based on a conversation I had with a recent player, the methodology in the training room is what needs updating.
The player said every type of injury seems to be treated more or less the same way.
Did a @lockedonpackers.bsky.social about this the other week, but the Packers don’t need freak numbers at DT. In fact most of their picks outside of Wyatt going back to Ted Thompson were more 75th percentile athletes.
Especially when it comes to NT which is the position GB needs.
Seems weird but 40 is one of the numbers that correlates for DTs in the NFL.
Packers also love broad jump.
Devonte Wyatt ran the fastest time ever for a guy over 300 pounds. 86th percentile broad jump for DT.
His 1.6 10 split is 99th percentile.
There are almost 30 TEs at the combine this week. About 50% more than we normally see.
Not a loaded group at the top but a TON of depth on Day and the Packers could use major depth reinforcements behind Tucker Kraft.
When the #Packers see a RB needs a year away, Brian Gutekunst will use premium picks to fill that void.
Why this year could be that year, even with a thin RB draft class.

He's not what he once was, but Matt Milano played for Bobby Babich and is projected to cost half of what Quay Walker will get on the open market.

They signed and drafted a bunch of guys for him. That wasn’t enough. They started using starters on coverage teams. That wasn’t enough. They’ve done everything and it hasn’t worked. It’s the coach. I’m sorry.
"The Packers" don't have a close-game problem or a 'playing down to their opponent' problem.
They have a last-mile problem and don't yet have answers for how to get to the finish line.

Matthew Stafford led the NFL in Big Time Throw rate among qualified QBs last season.
Jordan Love finished second.
He also finished T5th in Turnover Worthy Play Rate (the good kind of 5th).
Josh Allen was the only other QB top 10 in both categories.
