If we had had enough runtime or episodes we wanted more time spent with Alastor and the other two Vees. The closest was that scene with Velvette, but I'm glad people took away the right thing from it! Haha Alastor would weirdly get along with them. Which would just piss Vox off more lol

Don't get me wrong, I really think Vox LOVES VAL, buut he's emotionally constipated and stupid and easily manipulated.
So he's making mistakes!
Vox is simply tortured internally throughout the two episodes, torn between Alastor talking about his inner self and Valentino being in the present moment.

Vox pushing Val away from romantic intimacy because he's still holding onto the pain from Alastor's rejection and trying not to make the same mistake, only to make a different one by not seeing that Val wants that intimacy. He's ruining the thing he's trying to protect. #VoxVal #Hazbinseason2
