Edinburgh people. The Scottish Society of Architect Artists has an exhibition at the Scottish Arts Club, 24 Rutland Square and I’ve a few photos on show. “Ligne et Couleur” is open Tues to Sat until 29th June and it’s free. Do drop in.

Had a pleasant evening at the Scottish Arts Club for the opening of the Scottish Society of Architect Artists (of which I am both!) 2025 exhibition. I’ve three pieces of work on show so if you’re around Edinburgh do pop in for a look, entry is free.

I think I bought one of these in about 2008 and it was in dark grey. I think they might only have produced it for the Birdfair, which is where I bought it. I may be mistaken though, it has been known!

Very sad to hear of the death of John Blakemore who taught at the University of Derby. I was a science undergraduate there but I spent an inordinate amount of time in the photography department.

We may die earlier but we burn brighter.

No I haven’t tried that. I had tried a few things in the past but PM+ suits me. I used to shoot motorsports and PM+ is brilliant for that. Now I mainly shoot Fine Art type stuff so it’s probably overkill. I may peruse Excire just to see what’s what. We have storms this weekend. Enjoy being toasty.
