Targeted Killings of Alawites in the Coastal Regions of Syria and the Lack of Accountability of the Transitional Government - ehlen The perpetrators' cynical self-portrayal in these videos - their sheer depravity - knows no bounds. Their dehumanizing hatred is clear and visible.

I wrote this article in anticipation of Ahmed Hussein al-Sharaa's visit to the European Parliament in Brussels, on March 17, 2025. European politicians have remained silent on this issue, the newly emerging wave of ethnic cleansing of Alawites in Syria.
