But I think the one thing I could use vgen for is adoptables? So idk, im also not 100% attached to the idea of doing those

The only issue i have with vgen is that im restricted to other methods of gathering income? I understand why their site is the way it is but like, I would rather have my methods instead of being limited i guess? I'll just have to set up my own assets which is fine, taking advantage of indesign

Im thinking about commission again,,
Are "pay what you want" commissions worth it? Or it it easier to stick to a chart plus some specialty commissions?

Tbh, if youre able to take both sets of courses / studios, you can get either job. Im going for character concept design but I was advised that any in is an in for any future job // if I get a graphic design internship itll be the same in for what I want to do. Do what your passionate in!!
