3 years ago today I was running in Stanley Park when I suddenly lost consciousness. I woke up 4 days later post-op from a 4-vessel bypass. Sincerest thanks to the bystanders who performed CPR, the paramedics and the staff at St Paul’s Hospital for my second chance at life

At a press conference today, a group of scientists announced that if a killer asteroid was about to strike Earth, it should be kept a secret to avoid panic. When asked why they were making this announcement they said β€œOh, no reason”.

Prior to the 2015 election the Harper-era increase of the TFSA limit to $10,000 mostly benefited the top 25% of wage earners and cost $3.5 billion/year. @pierrepoilivere wants to bring back expensive take cuts that benefit the wealthy

Pierre Poilievre is engaging in blatant misinformation.
Mark Carney will be debating in French. He is not participating in an event held by TVA because of the outrageous requirement of a $70,000 fee to participate.
Facts matter

In 2022 Pierre poilievre was buying donuts for antivax protesters who were behind the movement that was, among other things, protesting hospitals and endangering health care workers, and is using that same violence that he helped facilitate as a campaign tool.
He is clearly unfit for public office

I understand what you are saying, but income splitting benefitted the top 20% of income earners and cost $3.5 billion/y

To Winnipeg West CPC MP Marty Morantz:
Some clarifications:
-much of the β€˜reckless deficit spending’ was due to making people didn’t starve and businesses didn’t fail during the pandemic
-taxes were only increased on the top 1%, and the carbon tax added 0.16% to the rate of inflation

What Pierre Poilievre leaves out here is that the previous Conservative government cut military spending to 0.99% of GDP, and the liberal government was investing heavily in the military, and was on track to have it up to 2% by 2025 until the pandemic hit

Many Canadians are happy with the latest polls, but the Conservatives have a well-funded and organized apparatus to identify Conservative voters and make sure that they vote.
There is only one poll that matters, and that is the election.
Make sure you vote!

A free press is essential to a democracy, never more so than during a political campaign.
This is suppression of the press. It is one of the first steps to fascism.
Pierre Poilievre would take Canada down the same dangerous path that America is now on

'It's the perfect storm': Doctors urge measles vaccinations as Alberta case counts rise | CBC News As concerns about measles grow, and case counts tick up,Β health-care workers are preparing for a surge and pleading with Albertans to ensure they're fully vaccinated.

I can’t believe that in 2025 we are having outbreaks of a disease that should have been eradicated years ago.
And yet the anti-vax movement continues to gain momentum with the support of politicians like Pierre Poilievre and Danielle Smith

Marty Morantz, MP for Winnipeg West: Pierre Polievre has appeared with Candice Malcolm , who just posted a poisonously hateful post about one of Mark Carney’s children.
Will you publicly call for Pierre Polievre to denounce this person?
Your constituents deserve an answer.

This is Pierre Poilievre with Candice Malcolm who posted a disgraceful and hateful post about one of Mark Carney’s children. Mr Poilievre has also been interviewed by this individual.
If he does not denounce the actions of this person he proves himself unfit for public office.

This liberal government instituted:
-Canada Child Benefit
-school lunch program
-child care program
-pharmacare
-dental care for low income Canadians
A CPC government under Pierre Poilievre:
-will get rid of all these things

Marty Morantz: When Justin Trudeau started his term as Prime Minister, he graciously thanked Stephen Harper for his service to Canada yet you and your party have done nothing but express scorn and derision.

5 years ago COVID was declared to be a global pandemic. Never forget that while health care workers like myself were caring for COVID victims in ICU, and the Liberal Government was procuring vaccines, Pierre Poilievre and CPC were actively supporting antivax terrorism

In 2013 I met Justin Trudeau while he was running for Liberal Party leader. I got to know him, and decided that I would run for MP. I left the only job I had wanted since I was 10, and have never regretted that decision.
