I wanna write an essay explaining Laughing Warawau. But I also think its a very rewarding game to figure out on your own and don't want people to take what I said at face value without experiencing it for themselves.

To be fair, there are a lot of games and the more that get translated the more you have to play catch up. And it can get pretty overwhelming to newcomers probably.

In some ways its both a blessing and a curse that our translator is getting these out so quickly!!!

I would like to indoctrinate more Towelketers before the next translation is out. Truth be told I was kind of disappointed at the lackluster response some of these later games got after they were translated. The scary reality is most people won't actually play past the first three games!

I used to go crazy writing random short fanfiction but now its impossible for me to do...I have ideas but I have no clue how to write (starts choking self)

It's probably because its another case of Kanao just touching up old sprites which is what I initially found unpleasant before they started switching up their style entirely.

But anyway, it will be interesting to see the reaction once translations catch up (never ever)

Ironically I think the current style only ever looks bad in remakes specifically. I'm not sure why but there's just something about Kanao trying to replicate old areas that make them look incredibly unpleasant in ways the other games aren't...like why does it look like...that...

In my opinion, I really like the art direction the games have settled on. It's really at its best when Kanao makes the effort to recreate everything from scratch. Not to mention it still stays true to that iconic Towelket look while still looking brand new and shiny
