I would like to knit a woolen hat, but not a beanie. Wearing beanies is not fun, as I dont like how they feel on my head & ears. My skill level is intermediate. Any suggestions on where to find a hat pattern that is not a beanie.

I'm seeing heaps of troll/bot comments on FB that the strike on the girls' school in Minab was an Iranian rocket failure.
Here's why that's false:

I'm ashamed of our government. Today supporting an illegal war is a nail in the coffin.
This is not the NZ of nuclear free, of anti apartheid, of the Treaty of Waitangi Act.
This is neo-liberals and populists run amok. Not the country I want nor that I'm willing to excuse #nzpol

Well, didn't expect to be emailing Luxon and
Winnie, this morning asking them to remove the ambassadors of Israel and USA, before having my breakfast.
I sent one to Winnie, as I know Luxon is unlikely to act.
You should too.
You are doing great. I hope it feels good to see how much progress you have made over the last month.

I got a house elf. Made a huge difference, and it is nice not being so very tired all the time. I can rest when I need too which has been a life changer.

I have got to deal with the jungle that is around the fish pond. I can't see the fish anymore from the deck.
Good day to get splashy.
Pale blue iceberg that has a pointy end, and a dark blue arch. The background is grey sky. It's my favourite iceberg that I saw while visiting the Ross Sea, Antarctica. The different shades of blue are a wonder to behold.
Post a pic you took, no context, to bring some zen to the feed.

I stand in the yard as the sun rises behind me. My shadow stretches out in front of me.
The sunrise shadow contains all you've done, everything you've been. I see triumph, defeat, love, loss, and dreams.
One could get lost; reminiscing, reflecting.
One could.
I shrug and get on with my day.

Two large white ducks making themselves very comfortable in the leaf covered ground in a small forest at the back of the property. One duck is sitting on the ground and the other one is deciding where to rest. Leafy ferns are close by.
Finally fixed the fence so the ducks stay on the property. Only taken 3 months as I couldnβt be bothered to. Neighbours will be happy, as the ducks had discovered their ornamental fish pond. They are rescue ducks living their best life, exploring every day.π¦π¦π¦
