This actually has been going on for over 100 years in the US. Any time workers would try to organize or speak up for living wages - they were immediately labeled as communists and squashed. Happened with coal miners in WV, farm workers in CA, etc.

I travel a lot for work all over the US and have noticed lots of people watching Faux all day long at their places of business or work. Even on planes, I rarely see anyone tuned into MSNBC or CNN, if a person is watching the "news" it's always Faux.
