Nearly 40 CUNY SPS students and staff explored the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture, diving into the stories, artifacts, and voices that have shaped African American history.

As Black History Month wraps up, we’re proud to share highlights from our February 21 trip to Washington, DC!

Curated and moderated by Youth Studies Professor Lumumba Bandele, the series brought together 500+ participants to explore how storytelling and cultural expression can challenge systems and advance justice.
