Not an Elon fan and def don’t want to cover up for fascism but I watch that and see an awkward, stiff “giving my heart out” gesture. In the context of what he’s saying that’s what makes sense. Given everything else to care about, this seems silly imo 🤷‍♀️

We’ve taken so much heat over this for the past what 8? years that I totally understand it made people feel this way. I definitely wish that wasn’t the case, believe me!

If you want to send me your email I can put you in touch with our polling team to answer your questions, but if you’re really just trying to prove somehow we are trying to favor the warning schools…it’s a waste of time. We just aren’t. 🤷‍♀️

I disagree that tabling at a conference is endorsing, which is what a sponsorship looks like. If that was the case we could never be able to table at any! We don’t endorse any group.

I can’t remember exactly it was so long ago, but my guess was we thought it was an opportunity to bring *our* free speech message to a large number of students on campus. Same reason for a lot of conferences we attend. Plus we called out the professor watchlist, and one NAS did years prior.

TPUSA campus chapters are often denied student fee funding on a viewpoint discriminatory basis or denied recognition for BS reasons and we defend their right to freely associate. We also table at so many student conferences of all stripes so I’ve always thought this criticism was overblown.

I mean…you can literally see all the components that go into the score…the student survey results, the actual policies on the books, and behavior (sanctions/disinvitations, etc.) Each of the 250+ schools were evaluated under the exact same methodology. Not using “gut”
