Tenma Tsukasa 🌟

Again, the knight's talking to himself — he allows his feet to guide him wherever, lost in his thoughts even as he finds the small cottage belonging to a particular mage.

Tsukasa looks at Rui.

What had transpired before this... The princess coming to the harsh reality of their small group not lasting forever.

"Really, you're worrying too much about the future. Is living in the present so hard?"

The knight brings a hand to his chest, clutching at his clothing with a frown. He's been walking through the forest for far too long, unsure of where he is. Yet, his mind remains on the youngest princess.

"Her Highness... She has to be somewhere."

He ponders for a moment, before standing up himself— neatly placing the script on the side.

One final glance at Rui with a nod, and he begins.

He smiled at Rui's words. "Of course! I just hope things can quickly be resolved soon."

He looked back at the script. It's a simple scene where the knight talks to himself in search of the runaway princess, played by Emu. The knight would bring along the two mages to her to cheer her up after.

At that, he let out a sigh of relief he didn't even know he was holding. He looked visibly less tense now, leaning into the comfort of the couch.

"Still, i'm very sorry for how I had acted that day. I should've known..."

"If it's about what I did to you, I'm very sorry! I don't even know what came over me, I was just tired, and I dealt with some weird stuff that ended up making me lash out on you..."

His voice grew smaller again, not wanting to recall what had happened there which caused him to act like that.

At that, Tsukasa raises his head to meet Rui's eyes, unaware he had avoided his gaze in the first place. A look of worry immediately flashes through his face, prepared for numerous apologies.

Is he not atleast a little bit pained from what Tsukasa had done to him that day? Nene's clearly affected by... something too, and he ended up getting angry at her.

"Nevermind! Continue on."

"It'd be amazing if we could do that, Rui! I can always trust you to come up with this stuff." he starts, his voice now enthusiastic too.

"It's good to see that regardless of what had happened in that weird place, you can still take inspiration from it. Though.."

He gives Rui a smile, much fonder than usual. Atleast the director's mostly back to his usual shenanigans, and Tsukasa on the other hand...

Ah, he needed to answer his director, no?

He hummed as he listened to Rui, nodding his head along as he processed the words.

Inspiration from that odd place, huh? Despite what had happened, Rui still managed to take inspiration from it; a quality of his director which Tsukasa truly admires.

looking at the scars on his face before looking away. He doesn't want to think about that now of all times, really.

After taking a few sips of water, he stops, placing it back on the tray and motioning at the script.

"So, what did you need to talk about today?" he begins. "I think our script's pretty good, but I don't mind any additions..."

He trailed off as he looked at the director's face again,

"Gladly! Thank you so much." Tsukasa says, sitting down and opening up a bottle of water. He places his script on his lap, happy to be hanging out with Rui again.

He makes sure Rui drinks some water himself too, wanting his director to also be comfortable with him.

It's tidied up, and Tsukasa smiles— Rui must've put in some effort before he came here to avoid some nagging.

"I'm here, Rui! Right on time too!" He laughs, proud of himself as he strikes a pose.

He silently applauds himself as he arrives in 15 minutes, puffing his chest out. On time, as always!

He considers between just texting Rui or knocking on his garage.. room? door.

He ends up knocking on the entrance, bowing as he enters the room.

Additionally, this could take his mind off whatever's going on within the troupe.

Grabbing his script, he leaves his house. He doesn't have to tell Saki as she's out with her band, and he doesn't mind a long walk to Rui's place.

[Sure!!! I'll be over in 15 minutes.]

The show... It's been delayed for a while, so some changes wouldn't hurt. He wonders what Rui has planned? His director always has great ideas in mind, even on rough days such as this.

Tsukasa perks up as he hears the sound of the second notification go off, checking his phone way too eagerly.

Finally, a text from someone in his troupe! He was just grateful that Rui was still willing to talk to him.

He frowned at the memory of what had happened these past couple days, failing to notice the sound of a notification pop up from his phone as he was deep in his thoughts.

He was too harsh on her, wasn't he? Now that his mind is clearer, he can't help but wonder why he even thought of her being an entity when they were already out of that place.

He'd also been harsh to Rui. That's the entire reason he'd been so worried to everyone lately, but especially Rui.

"No reply back from Emu..."

The man lets out a sigh as his last messages remained on read. His messages had increased in frequency since that incident, and he can't help but worry that something had happened to his troupe members.
