We had to delay our prior postdocs’ mock expert testimony, but it worked out great bc the incoming postdocs got to watch. Admin loved this setup, but it only works if we keep hiring our postdocs as faculty.

Once submitted a Major Revision, 3 page review that was critical but supportive. The other review when I submitted was Accept As Is with only the words "Nice manuscript" as the review.

The response was pretty pissy at me & kept noting the other reviewer had no issue w/ the things I was noting.

As former PsyD faculty, I’ll say:

1) cohort size (more than 15-20 & have to ask yourself what mentoring & oversight there is)
2) accredited internship match rates should be at or near 100%
3) completion rate
4) funding support (how & # guaranteed years)

I reached out to the musician my dad loved who inspired our son’s name. Not only did he remember my dad—who died 16+ years ago— but he shared all his correspondence he had with him & had the kindest words about him. I hope I live the kind of life where people remember me that fondly years later.
