What a great angle!

It really was such a surprise. I saw it at night at the Kōdai-ji Temple. There was a very cool multimedia event that was very well orchestrated. It didn’t compete with the space and gave an immersive sense of the history / spiritual aspects.

Me too! For me it was male and it was a big deal for me. Huge surprise.

Yes! Not to be weird, but I just donated. As a kid, I had a lot of exposure to cool scienc-y people of many different kinds and it blew my world wide open.

And that was through science and beyond, because science doesn’t live in locked in a dark cupboard. It drives life.

Language and dialect inclusion aren’t dissimilar. When people tell you not to include Trini or Caribbean speech in YOUR book it’s not just inconsiderate, ---> it’s erasure.

Ok, so something else came to mind. I was born in Trinidad and my dad was from India. I speak Spanish, but none of my heritage languages. It’s a break in connection even in very recent generations. I couldn’t speak to my grandmother and it still breaks my heart.

On the 1st day of looking for mangrove tree crabs, I learned just how good at hiding their little butts could be.

Didn’t get to see any that day, but this weirdly bifurcated unexpected sunset was a pretty nice consolation prize.

I’m in South Florida and this absolutely a huge red flag. This can’t be a pre or current desaparecidos repeat.

Less than 2cm brown mangrove tree crab stands on white, yellow and grey stone surface next to brown leaf 3 times it’s size.

It’s been a bit, but this little one’s false advertising is partially to blame!
