The show brought moments from Raleigh and Boston to Detroit. It was really powerful to feel them superimposed all in one place.

I need to go to more shows.

It’s been about 20 years since I last saw Ted Leo, and he put on a great set. His Sinead O’Connor shirt was killer.

Slow Joy brought a heartfelt joy to the set they performed. I wasn’t sure about the show but seeing them live sold me on them.

I don’t make it out to concerts as much as I would like, but seeing Texas is the reason, Ted Leo, and Slow Joy last night was the joy I needed.

I bought my Texas is the reason LP in high school so to finally see them 25 years later was a bucket list goal accomplished.

One of the best parts of our block party was bounce house child fight club.

And in said fight club my 8yo daughter bodied a 10yo boy.

What other guidelines, analogies, or advice do you give your students?

2) balance bike vs. training wheels.

The current pedagogy is to skip training wheels all together and learn to balance on a balance bike. The training wheel is a technology invented to help you learn to ride a bike, but in fact hinders the process. Is AI acting as training wheels for you?

Thinking of guidelines for my students and AI. In most cases I would prefer them to not use it at all. But assuming usage will happen.

1) you are at the gym. Is AI lifting the weights for you or acting as a spotter? Who is doing the intellectual lifting?
