I think was an initial thought but I think marketing plays a big part. The ICC clowns pushed the shorter games with the hope of making more money. Nothing else. Just need to switch the focus back and invest in the test cricket game. It's a better quality product, that just needs to be messaging

Every game this summer (SA Vs Aus included) has been a reminder of how great test match cricket is and how absolutely garbage these hit and giggle short forms are in comparison. Test cricket has never been more marketable yet all focus goes on that other muck. Need to spend money educating the kids
