It appears that the U.S. Supreme Court is about to be inconsequential if they aren’t already.

It has always been the GOPs position that less educated voters will vote for them. So of course they have done everything they could to destroy education.

Trump Doctrine: Destroy government program illegally, await lawsuit and TRO temporarily halting destruction, watch case move through courts at taxpayer expense, repeat. Meanwhile, we all pay the price in legal fees and chaos.

The more I think about it, as a 4th gen Californian, I am really feeling committed to the idea of having California secede from the US, AND - reunite with Mexico. At the very least, we'd finally have a woman as President.

I have to hand it to Gov Abbott. Can’t think of another governor who would take the chance to defy Federal Protocol and raise the U.S. flag to full mast in honor of Martin Luther King day. I may have to rethink all those bad thoughts I had about him. (or not)

Seeing the Carter funeral and the former Presidents, I thought of what might be if Gore, Clinton or Harris were President. It occurred to me, that President Harris could still happen. Biden resigns. Harris become 47. Imagine what she could do in 4 years--contract that down to 7 days. 😍

This may sound unkind, but I’m actually glad that Carter died when he did. At least we know President Biden will do right in providing the proper memorial for President Carter.

After the "Canada as the 51st State" debacle (keeping mind, we already have two possible 51st Sates in D.C. and Puerto Rico) He needed something to either distract us from the previous story, or make it seem normal by comparison.
