Trying to explain US politics to a non-American is mental gymnastics.

You know, I think GFM is going to be my last fur con. I don't connect with the fandom as much as I did 3 years ago, and my life has changed a lot since then. Going to cons and the fandom isn't really a priority anymore.

Maybe I'll have the motivation to go to one in the future, but I'm not sure.

I had a nice afternoon at a local meetup with other furs at a park, not including how hot it was. It's nice to spend time with others even though I'm still horrible at socializing. I should try to spend time with others more often.
