Self-portrait, shot on Polaroid round frame film + detail. Round frame is one of my favorite films. Some of my best work is shot on it. This is one from my last shoot of 2025.

Afraid not. The majority is fine with having their ignorance elevated and give control over their lives to the elites or an imaginary friend to avoid accountability.

Bought this at a multimedia store without checking production date. Got home, film dated 2022 so my hopes vanished but at least I still got some pastel-like shots that turned out OKish.

She comes from the past. Self-portrait on expired Polaroid color film. This film was 3,5 years old, hence lack of contrast/bright colors.

Same! That's my worry also with the rising price of chemicals etc.

Well, I-type is also film for the newer cameras and a lot of that film is also out of stock so I don't know what they are focusing on. 😒

A LOT of film is currently out of stock: round frame, gold frames, black frames with color film. Imagen having a film subscription per month only to be left with so much film out of stock. I don't know what's going on at Polaroid actually.

Same! Funny how these things stay with us and only later do we discover... oh, that's where that fetish came from! 😁

Recent self-portrait on Polaroid I-type color film.

Oh yes! With the paintings by Ken Marschall. Later, with more photos being released, just showcased what an absolute legend Marschall is in terms of piecing together the ship, just from snippets. It's crazy what he has done when you look at the 3D-scans from Titanic, released a year ago.

When everyone still thought Titanic's wreck would be in 'relative' good condition. Or at least as one piece. There are many Titanic movies and series but yes, it was Cameron's film which caused the Titanic-passion in me so I will never say a bad word about that film despite the inaccuracies.

And there you have the real signature, which took a bit of time to get all the books signed. But my publiser and I wanted to do a little extra and not just say which number of copy.b

I had to sign 600 loose papers and send them back so they could be binded in the book. Quite the afternoon! 😅

Actually all copies have an originalautograph. Its on the transparent paper, in front of the page on which you can find the book number. 😉

Lifespan: they still slightly fade over time but the current color film holds up well. I store mine in acid free cardboard boxes with sillica packs to keep moisture out. And scan them high res to have a digital archive, just in case. 😉

Same as always, just experimenting with the brightness of my LED-lights and warm color temperature. This was 'fresh' film but did not expect it to be this contrasty either. 😅

Recent self-portrait on Polaroid. Yes, it's a Polaroid and I was amazed at how clear and contrasty this came out.
