That was just garbage from #MNUFC. They consistently got the ball into the danger area on the goal line near the post, and other than the one time Rosales cut the ball back and Tani scored... shot from that spot with a terrible angle. They should have won that game 3-0. Brutal.

3. I think this is just showing #MNUFC need a high level CDM. Trapp isn't mobile enough to handle these situations.

If Gene is supposed to be that guy, he should probably get more minutes.

2. This is a glaring issue against teams with good playmakers (e.g. San Diego, Club America). If this is just a tired legs thing, Ramsay needs to be more aggressive subbing the wing backs.

1. #MNUFC must spend a ton of time on set pieces you'd think they'd be better defending corners and deep free kicks. Is this just a mentality thing? Or just mental tiredness after so much defending?

Watching the replays, I couldn't figure out what CA's RCB was doing. Pereyra must have juked him with his eyes.

Seems like #MNUFC give up goals in 3 ways:
1. Free headers on corner kicks.
2. Late closing down wide players and get beat by a good cross in the air and a decent run.
3. Slowed down counters, ending with a simple pass to the top of the box, and then Loons too slow to close down.

Really like the way Tani's goal looks on here. Practically a straight line down the middle of the field. DSC to Pereyra to Tani. #MNUFC

I feel like Smir will be fine for the odd start, but I wouldn't want to depend on him down the stretch.

I'd guess A. Staff spoke highly of him, but he looked uncomfortable on the field. Real playing time could help a lot.

He was also on an international slot. Freeing that up gives #MNUFC more flexibility in this window.

You could tell over and over Bongi wants to get to the end line (where he plays a decent cutback), but Harvey couldn't find that pass.

#MNUFC look good when they get CBs forward, but I think this is where Diaz would really shine. He's a more creative passer than Harvey, but Diaz's defense is suspect.

Does this mean #MNUFC have a new LWB coming in this summer?

Interesting move for #MNUFC. Knew Sang Bin had to be on the way out.

Padelford is more surprising, and makes me wonder about Rosales. While Padelford wasn't getting and minutes, he'd still be the backup to Markanich if Rosales is sold.

Nice finish from Markanich! Plus he celebrates the same way I do after scoring with your weak foot. I just want everyone to know.

Mnufc’s pod with their video analyst is a good listen. Zarek at the end makes the case for bringing the corner kick scarf wave to long throws and his point is basically: it will only increasingly get in defenders heads that theyre in danger

Couldn't watch the #MNUFC tonight because I'm on a plane, but just watched this pass on repeat at least 5 times. Unreal pass from Gressel!

It's providing tasteful ambiance south of Selby. But can't hear it indoors this year.

Tani's improvement in hold up play has made a big difference. I like that he's trying to play quickly, even if it doesn't work out.

I'd like to see Yeboah play quicker when he's got his back to goal. Too often he's unable to find a pass and ends up trying to draw a foul.

I'm also looking for more pinpoint diagonal passes from Boxall. Don't remember seeing that before the Vancouver game.

Last question is can Romero defend 1-on-1, because he's going to have to.

These are the changes I was hoping to see today for #MNUFC. Markanich on the left and Gene with a good chunk of playing time.

Harvey at RCB is a good change too. Better defender than Diaz.
