I stressed that one issue with the criticism of speculative fiction as "escapism" is it ignores the genre's power of allegory.

The stories were translated into Portuguese by Brazilian students supervised by Elton Luiz Aliandro Furlanetto, a professor at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul/Campo Grande.
