I travelled to northern CB around this time 6 years ago. A client warned me to be careful and told me we would not see each other for a while. He was the first person to really talk to me about what was coming. Smart guy.

Around 2 weeks later I picked up my kid and moved them out of university.

I so believe this. I have always had a lot of anxiety about my kids. I am a natural worrier. But I bit my tongue many times over the years and let them do the things. Sometimes other parents questioned our decisions.

And yes today, confident, brave, independent, living their lives. So yes.

Do they fucking know why people seek asylum? Maddening. To be so lucky to have never had your home, your community destroyed. Family murdered. They don’t want to help refugees.
They are the worst of people.

They are using meeting rooms and training rooms because no cubicles. So no place to have training, meetings, even a private conversation.
